As part of our ImpactLives Day, we would like the students to give up their lunch for the day and experience what the life of a hungry child is like. The Fortified Rice & Soy Casserole provides a starving child with 21 essential vitamins and minerals for a growing body. The students who tried it last year thought it was a tasty, worthwhile experience. Please follow these instructions to sign-up your child(ren) to taste or eat a IL meal:
Log onto www.highlandsvolunteers.org
- Click on the link for ImpactLives 2009
 - Click on the IL Lunch Sign-Up tab
 - Fill in your child’s first name, last name, teacher, room number and quantity of 1
 - Click on Register

***Deadline for IL Lunch Sign-Up is Monday, December 14th***
We are also looking for parent volunteers to help make the day go smoothly. We are looking for volunteers to assist during each of the five 1-hour food packing shifts as well as during a set-up shift and a clean-up shift. Volunteers who wish to assist for the entire day are more than welcome. Follow these simple instructions to sign-up to volunteer:
- Log onto www.highlandsvolunteers.org
 - Click on the link for ImpactLives 2009
 - You should be on the Volunteer page. Scroll down the list of Volunteer positions until you find the shift that corresponds to your child’s teacher.
 - Click on the Volunteer link next to the option you selected
 - Fill in your first name, last name, email, and phone
 - Click on Submit

***Deadline for Volunteer Sign-up is Friday, December 11th***
Please note that we will make every effort to pair you up with your child(ren) at the same station during this event. Position assignments will be done on a first come, first served basis so sign-up early.
If you have difficulties with either of the sign-up processes above please contact Stephanie Zahrbock or Michelle Steinke.
